Qualified: Can You Manage?

Jobs in leading positions are more than often assigned in ways that are highly unequal, prejudiced and critical towards many people. People are turned down often not because they don’t fit, but purely out of bias reasons. People are being treated differently based on their gender, sexuality, religions, looks and even names. We have developed our game to show exactly that and reflect this issue in our society.

Unfortunately design couldn’t solve this problem. So take action and make it change!

Let's Play a Game!

You have applied for a job in a leading position and were invited to a job interview. Spin the fortune wheel, and you will get an assigned persona. Personas fit into three different categories: privileged group, less privileged group, and underprivileged group. For example, Dan is a son of Afghan immigrants, freshly graduated.

If you were assigned a persona from the underprivileged group, the only thing you can get at the end of the interview is a nice letter of decline, despite how good you answered those questions in the game. It is the crucial fact of how a great number of people are treated differently in reality, merely because of their name, origin, sexuality or other banal reasons.
